Slowcooked Meat and Potatoes

Ingredients:

About a pound of stewing beef
5 large potatoes
2 onions
2 whole heads of garlic
Italian Seasoning
3 medium sized carrots
salt
pepper
flower

Wash the beef. Mix flour and pepper together and coat the beef in it, then brown the beef.

After the beef is browned, add water and cover it. Cook it over low heat. This is a dish that can slow cook for hours so just add anywhere from a cup of water to 2 cups and let the meat tenderize and the gravy form while you cut up the other ingredients.

Cut up the garlic first and add it. This will add flavor as the dish cooks.

Cut up the onions, carrots, and potatoes and add them gradually. No need to rush. This is a great dish for a day where you're stuck at home, but busy with errands. Season with Italian seasoning and salt to taste.

Just cook it on low heat for about 4-5 hours, making sure to stir it now and then.
