Money saving Mommy

by Amanda Ferris
(Owosso, Michigan USA)

I am a mother of 3 boys. I have had to be a penny pincher every step of the way. I have found that shopping at Goodwill and Salvation Army for clothes has been a huge money saver for me.

I pay .49 for a nice pair of jeans instead of $10.00. Sometimes if your lucky they will be half off and only pay around .24.

I am also a firm believer in coupon shopping. If you shop at some stores, they will even double coupons up to a dollar. Instead of buying garbage bags for $5.49, use the ones that we all accumulate at the local grocery store.

They do tend to fill up quicker, but it's cheaper than buying a box.
