Easy Goulash

This tastes even better a day later.

Ingrediants
1 large onion, chopped.
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 T. olive, vegetable or canola oil
1 lb. Ground beef, browned and drained.
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes.
1 (16 oz.) can water.
8 ounces of elbow macaroni, uncooked
salt
pepper
Parmesan cheese (optional)
Saute onions and garlic in oil until translucent in a large skillet.
In another pan, brown the ground beef and drain.
Add the ground beef, tomatoes, water, macaroni, salt and pepper to the onion and garlic mixture.
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until macaroni is al dente or tender.
Top with the Parmesan cheese if desired.
