Money market accounts on average have the highest return than the other three savings accounts. You can invest your money on a shorter time frame than a CD, but your money is not held by a bank. Instead your money is in the hands of a mutual fund company. They are not insured by the (FDIC), but they are regulated by the
U.S. Securities and Exchange commission.
